I grow beet. I was upset because the gophers kept eating my beets. I tried water, Uncle somthing repellant that has chili powder and other repellants. I spent about $100 for these repellants. My brother's father-in-law uses victor traps and he could catch about 20. I bought a pair. So far, it catches 4.

I have been using this trap for 30 years and it has always done the job. The trick is to know how to use the trap. You need to have two of them, each one going in the opposite direction in the tunnel. And it makes a big difference if you bait the trap before you place it in the tunnel. You want to attract the gopher to the trap, otherwise you will not be as successful.

The items arrived in a timely manner. I am not that impressed with the traps..zero luck so far...and the traps seem designed for bigger moles than I have (mine may be "pocket gophers"). The traps are too wide for their holes. Black Hole traps are far more effective for me.
